They noticed her appearance
And gave her no reverence.
The imprint of her character was professed.
though she was only granted one look,
her temperament was wrongly confessed.
So she fought for another chance to fit in,
But she was brutally pushed aside.
Identity was branded with pride.
The group strut away
Noses in the air,
And she was judged and rejected
because of her clothes, makeup, and hair.
